Riyazulla, doctorate in Geology, is a bilingual writer, who has published seven novels in English on various national and international themes. His debut historical attainment, the ‘Midnight Daughter’ (2003), accomplished through reflective research is about the holocaust subsequent to the partition of India in 1947, when millions of people trapped in the wrong moments of history were craving for each other’s blood. Mr. M. V. Kamath, the veteran diplomat suggested a film on this book while releasing it in Delhi in 2004.
Its success and an exquisite ally stimulated him to continue his passion for writing and since then he has authored six more novels. The focus of most of his literary creations is terrorism and wars that have wreaked havoc in many parts of the world. Almost all his novels are political fictions conceived through meticulous investigations in the line of renowned British author, Fredrick Forsyth that conveys a message of peace and harmony among various communities and countries.
